ICELAND Yoga Retreat

12th - 17th october 2024

Our Iceland retreat location is a peaceful wilderness far away from the tourist hotspots.

We have created a programme that combines yoga with lots of exploring with our brilliant Icelandic hosts and plenty of time enjoying the thermal pools, so that you can truly immerse yourself in all that Iceland has to offer. Some of these are included in your package and others are optional, so that you can choose whether to do everything or take time to rest and reflect when you need to.

The private family owned farm includes peaceful and secluded luxurious cabins located at the edge of the farm with mountain views. Cosy and warm cabins with big windows so you can feel really immersed in the wild nature all around you.

About the practice, activities and more. Highlights include:

  • Daily morning practice of meditation, breath work, and strong vinyasa flow yoga

  • Luxurious cosy cabins with mountain views

  • Meals created with quality Icelandic ingredients, organic and fresh, with great emphasis on using what nature provides in the region.

  • A day out exploring the geothermal wilderness of Lake Myvatn

  • Bath house

  • Sauna

  • Outdoor hot tub

  • Massages for extra relaxation

  • Whale watching on the fjord and/or visit the Icelandic horses

Join us in wild, remote north Iceland for a yoga and wellness adventure like no other!

Practice daily yoga, sleep in cosy cabins on a private farm surrounded by snowy mountains. Hike in the mountains, walk through silent valleys and watch whales in the majestic fjords.

Explore Lake Mývatn, enjoy a sunset soak in thermal pools and experience the magical Northern Lights, making this an exceptional retreat not to miss.

Our Iceland retreat has something for everyone.

The yoga is a slow flow style and layered so it’s challenging for all levels, although some previous experience of vinyasa yoga is recommended.

We have a bathhouse with a sauna and hot tub and massages so there is plenty of scope for relaxation.

The adventures are varied and optional, so you can choose how active you are during the retreat.

Our location is remote and wild with big mountains to climb if you want to challenge yourself, or you can hike around the valley for a more scenic experience.

Our Icelandic chef will be creating hearty meals served in our farmhouse kitchen.

Meals are created with quality Icelandic ingredients such as organic lamb and fresh fish and game meats such as goose, with great emphasis on using what nature provides in the region. Vegetarian and vegan meals are possible and our chef can accommodate special dietary needs but please do let us know in advance.
